Well, I was ready to pour some wine at 230 this afternoon. Anyone else?

Let’s see… Today Hazel has cried and told me her toys were too heavy to pick up, they were Legos, caught her finger in the closet door, cried that she couldn’t have more time on her new tablet until after she cleaned up some toys, then when I said I could donate her toys if I cleaned she said “but I’m happy now” through tears. So yeah, wine almost happened early.

On the plus side, we video chatted with big sister then Grandma and Grandpa! I know they miss seeing her and she was so excited!! Maybe big brother is next? She also decided her reading nook was perfect for tablet time. Dad might have joined her for a bit too.

I’ve been trying real hard to get some stuff done. Happy that over the last week I’ve cleaned 3 of 4 closets that have needed it for years and I also finally went through all the totes of baby clothes and got those down from 7 to 3. Now as far as my projects go in the yarn world it’s taken forever to get this much done on this shawl, the last one took 3 days.

Maybe this little booger is why?

And now, as I’m sitting on her bed with her, she is falling asleep next to me. And during dinner she just looked at me and went ‘ I love you Mommy’ .. yeah I’m not crying you are! Already it’s those things keeping me sane, ish. So I’ll leave you with this until next time
